FaceFusion Guide: How to Swap Faces in Videos
Includes Instructions on Disabling the nsfw Filter
The Ultimate Deepfake Usage Guide (for Educational Purposes)

🔞 How to remove nsfw filter.

FaceFusion automatically blurs and blocks NSFW content (e.g., erotic video samples).
To bypass this filter, follow the steps below (for educational and legal use only):

Use the modified program “content_analyser.py” file
included in Gumroad Our the file you received after purchase just $8.

  • We kindly ask you to purchase it for $8 on Gumroad.
Free access may lead to widespread sharing, which could draw unwanted attention and result in restrictions that may affect you too.
Please consider the $8 both as a preventive measure and a donation to support future FaceFusion updates.

After clicking >Install but before running >Run UI, open the file browser:
On desktop: Click the file icon on the left.
On mobile: Tap the three-line menu at the top left and choose “Show File Browser”.

Upload and overwrite the modified program “content_analyser.py”
into the .program > facefusion directory in the file browser.

This will disable the NSFW filter.

Proceed with >Run UI as usual to launch the FaceFusion User Interface panel.

📘 [Usage Guide]

1. Launch from Google Colab Link

What is Google Colab?
Google Colab is a free, cloud-based Python development environment provided by Google.
It allows you to write and run Python code directly in your browser, even on low-end hardware, and is suitable for high-performance tasks like AI processing and data analysis.

2. Log in with your Google Account

If you’re using Google Chrome and already logged in, you’re good to go.
If not, please log in with a Google account.
While Colab works in other browsers, Chrome is highly recommended.

3. Change Runtime Type

Click the “Connect” ▼ button in the upper-right corner.
Select “Change runtime type”.

Choose “T4 GPU” as the hardware accelerator.

💡 Tip: The free version of Colab is fine to start with,
but T4 GPU sessions may time out quickly
usually after generating around 20 seconds of video.
You can either wait 3–5 hours before trying again or upgrade to Colab Pro for a more stable experience (recommended).

4. Run FaceFusion UI Setup

Step (1) : Scroll down to the middle of the Colab notebook and click >Install.
This step takes around 8–10 minutes with the free plan.
Be patient—or try a paid plan for faster setup.

After clicking >Install, you’ll see a warning prompt.
Click “Run Anyway” to continue.
Installation begins with a message like:

“Installing…”

You’ll see execution time displayed at the bottom.
Setup typically takes 8–9 minutes on T4 GPU.

Step (2): (Optional) Mount Google Drive
Click >(OPTIONAL) Mount Google Drive.

This links your Drive, making it easy to save and download generated videos.
Highly recommended to avoid timeout issues when downloading from Colab.
Note: This step is optional.

Step (3): Run UI
Execute the FaceFusion UI you installed in step ① by clicking >Run UI.

5. Launch the FaceFusion User Interface Panel

After running >Run UI, a link will appear in the output section.
Click the link to access the FaceFusion User interface.

6. Configure Settings in the User interface Panel

In the “SOURCE” field at the top center, upload the image of the face to be swapped in.

In the “TARGET” field, upload the video where the face will be swapped.

⚠️ If using a free Colab plan with T4 GPU, keep video length to 15–20 seconds to avoid timeouts.
Longer videos may exceed the usage limit.

The default settings are generally fine.
However, change the audio output format from “flac” to “aac”
if your media player doesn’t support flac.

If the target video contains profile or side-facing shots,
check the “90” box under FACE DETECTOR ANGLES on the right-hand side.

7. Execute FaceFusion
Once everything is ready, click the “START” button at the bottom center.
When the process completes, the output video with the swapped face will be displayed.

You can download the result.

💾 If Google Drive is mounted, the file will be saved in:
My Drive > FF_Colab > Outputs
